Day Five.

Rex has taken up chewing and carrying around Matt's sock. This really is the only picture I could get that didn't involve taking from him or him being blurred out. He chews on it, sleeps on it, plays with it, hits me with it to play... It has become his ultimate toy. I really don't want him learning to play with socks but I can't help but just let him have this one because I know he misses his daddy. I let him get up on the bed today (as you can see in the picture) and he literally sat there, on the sock, and looked up at the pictures of Matt and I that I have on shelves. I'd never seen him look at a picture before but he stared at them for a long time. It really made me want to cry. He looks so sad.

I got to wake up to a phone call from Matthew this morning. I think that's the best way to wake up and go to sleep... hearing from him. Now to figure out this cell phone issue he's wanting me to do and we'll be all set! I hope this deployment pay kicks in soon. I want to get things figured out, paid off, and gone.
