Day 1-Introduce, recent picture, 15 interesting facts:
For anyone that has ever read this blog, then by now you're sure to know something about me. My name is Samantha. I am a twenty one year old wife to an Army soldier named Matthew. We currently live in Georgia, but I imagine within the next few years we'll be relocated elsewhere. (Texas I imagine, depending on the job Matt gets). We have a Black Lab Mix named Rex and I am in school but do it all from home.
1. I am terrified of being kidnapped and murdered. This has ruined my excitement for surprises.
2. I've never wanted to be a mother more than I currently do. It actually amazes me since I've grown up saying I never wanted children.
3. I'm completely obsessed with my husband. Like, to a point that some people would have me committed to an institution.
4. I'm in school to be a Dog Trainer and Vet Assistant but I'm really not sold on either profession.
5. I fucking LOVE Halloween. It's the equivalent of how Christmas is to small children. I don't enjoy it for candy or getting scared (although both are awesome.) Instead, I like it because often you'll get an insight into someone's true personality about how they celebrate or how they dress for it. Slutty girls, the funny or overly confident guys... They're all out there.
6. I love decorating. I just wish I had the constant flow of money to decorate the way I would like.
7. I hate anything that makes me classified as "girly". I am surprised and touched by flowers being sent to me, along with things like teddy bears, candy and romantic dinners... and love getting dressed up. But I love loud music, being outside, four wheelers, snakes, and scary movies. I like to have a good time with my husband's friends (with Matt there, of course) and many of them tell me I'm not a normal girl, and that makes me happy. Much of this is because I think I sympathize more with a male prospective.
8. I purposefully scheduled my husband and I to get married on a date that I figured would be easy for him to remember. My mom did the same thing with my father, and it works.
9. I'm a Gleek. I can't even help it or attempt to deny it. I tried for half the first season to avoid that show, but they are just too talented and the show is too funny to keep me away. I cry if I miss it.
10. Speaking of what makes me cry, I break down and cry whenever I lose my planner. I have a planner and calendar that I keep up with religiously. You can track my entire life with my planner.
11. I don't think highly of myself. People tend to think that I do because of the pictures I take, but actually they are my way of controlling how people see me, and a way of trying obscure my own view of myself. There's a list of things I would change about myself if I could.
12. Linens N Things was the best job I ever had. I met my best friend there and it was the least stressful, most organized job I ever had. Planet Popolicioius runs a close second.
13. I married into the Army because it's the only life I know. I love my husband, and if it weren't for him choosing this life, I would never have met him. But I'm comfortable being an Army wife because I understand the background of the lifestyle. I grew up as a Army brat. I couldn't imagine ever having a "real" life.
14. I can survive off cinnamon waffles and cereal. They are the best breakfast foods on the planet and I go through probably 6 boxes and 4-7 bags a month.
15. I hate the term "best friend" even though I use it often. I have many people I classify as a "best friend" but that's because I have so many friends that are fake friends. I do have a couple that top the list and I hope always stay in my life, but I know how easily a friendship can end over something stupid or just losing touch.

This should be interesting.
